Seed time!


A few weeks ago I planted some seeds.  This is the first time I've grown kale, chard, and carrots in my plot so I thought it would be fun to document their growth this summer on the blog.  I'm obsessed with kale--I really can't get enough and Lacinato Kale is my favorite so I'm really exited to grow my own this summer.

It all starts with a seed . . .

The Garden Sale Continues



There are lots of great plans left over from last weekend's plant sale.  This is open for members and non-members alike so please come and buy something beautiful and green.  Prices are below but remember--all money goes to benefit the garden.

$3 for the cells of 3 and 4 herbs, veggies or flowers
$3, I think, for the tomatoes that are in individual pots
$4 for 4" pots
$5 for 5" pots
$6 for 6" pots
about $15 for the evergreen shrubs, peach tree sapling, etc.

Garden Sale

A great day for the garden sale . . . until the sky opened up with a heavy downpour. Luckily I managed to get some great photos right before the rain. Lots of great plants and yummy treats for sale. More details as soon as I get them.
